AN ACT INCLUDING CURRENT CONSTRUCTION IN THE
CALCULATION OF THE TEN PER CENT THRESHOLD FOR THE
AFFORDABLE HOUSING APPEALS PROCEDURE EXEMPTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (k) of section 8-30g of the general statutes be 1
amended to include in the ten per cent threshold for exemption from the 2
affordable housing appeals procedure (1) any mobile manufactured 3
home under construction if such mobile manufactured home would 4
meet the statutory requirements for inclusion upon completion, and (2) 5
any affordable housing development under construction. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To include mobile manufactured homes and affordable housing
developments under construction in the calculation of the ten per cent
threshold for exemption from the affordable housing appeals
procedure.
