AN ACT ALLOWING EACH MUNICIPALITY THE OPTION TO ASSIGN
ITS OWN PRIMARY SERVICE AREA RESPONDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to allow each 1
municipality to have the option to assign any organization licensed as 2
an emergency medical services organization by the Office of Emergency 3
Medical Services as its primary service area responder. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with greater flexibility in providing
emergency medical services to their residents.
