AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF RATE
INCREASES FOR ELECTRICITY AND NATURAL GAS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a vote by each 1
chamber of the General Assembly on all electric or natural gas rate 2
increases approved by the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require legislative approval of rate increases of electricity and natural
gas.
