AN ACT CONCERNING SUBSTANCE -FREE HOUSING AT PUBLIC
INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require public institutions of 1
higher education to provide a designated on-campus housing option for 2
students who abstain from drugs and alcohol. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a designated substance-free housing option at public
institutions of higher education for students who abstain from drugs
and alcohol.
