AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO EXAMINE FINGERPRINT
COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND SHARING SYSTEMS USED BY
MUNICIPAL POLICE DEPARTMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to examine and make 1
recommendations for the improvement of (1) each municipal police 2
department's system of collecting and processing fingerprints in 3
accordance with the provisions of section 29-17a of the general statutes 4
for the purpose of a criminal history records check or other noncriminal 5
purpose, and (2) the method of sharing such fingerprints between 6
municipal police departments of the state. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a task force to examine and make recommendations for the
improvement of (1) each municipal police department's system of
collecting and processing fingerprints, and (2) the method of sharing
such fingerprints between municipal police departments.
