AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR IN -PATIENT ADDICTION
TREATMENT PROVIDERS THAT COVERS ROOM AND BOARD
COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Mental Health and Addiction Services, from the General Fund, for the 2
fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, to cover room and board costs for in-3
patient addiction treatment services. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To include room and board costs in payments to substance abuse health
care providers.
