AN ACT ESTABLISHING A RECOVERY SCHOOL IN CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
State Board of Education to establish and operate a state-wide recovery 2
school that is designed specifically for students in grades nine to twelve, 3
inclusive, who are in recovery from substance use disorder or co-4
occurring disorders. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure educational and treatment opportunities for high school
students in recovery.
