AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN SOLAR
PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATING SYSTEMS NEAR RESIDENCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
Connecticut Siting Council from approving the installation of any solar 2
photovoltaic generating facility within five hundred feet of any 3
residence. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the Connecticut Siting Council from approving the
installation of any solar photovoltaic generating facility within five
hundred feet of any residence.
