AN ACT CONCERNING THE MUNICIPAL REGULATION OF STREET
TAKEOVERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit a municipality, by 1
ordinance, to prohibit street takeovers and establish fines for such 2
violations. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize municipalities to adopt ordinances that penalize street
takeovers.
