AN ACT CONCERNING THE WAIVER PROCESS FOR THE
COMPREHENSIVE READING CURRICULUM MODEL OR PROGRAM
REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-14hh of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
consideration of student performance data and any resources a local or 2
regional board of education has developed as a comprehensive reading 3
curriculum model or program when evaluating an application for a 4
waiver from the comprehensive reading curriculum model or program 5
requirements. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the waiver process for the comprehensive reading curriculum
model or program requirements.
