AN ACT CONCERNING COASTLINE RESILIENCY TO CLIMATE
CHANGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide funding to support 1
sustainable infrastructure, such as natural barrier dunes and wetlands, 2
while promoting community planning to mitigate flooding and protect 3
vulnerable coastal properties. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To mitigate flooding and other damage caused by climate change in
coastal areas of the state.
