AN ACT CONCERNING GAMING ADVERTISEMENTS AND
PERMISSIBLE PAYMENT MECHANISMS FOR ONLINE GAMING
ACCOUNTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-863 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit (1) 1
funding any online gaming account by way of any revolving credit card 2
or other financial source that is not exclusively owned by the online 3
gaming account user, and (2) any promotion or advertisement that 4
offers any financial incentive or enticement to participate in certain 5
gaming activities. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit (1) funding any online gaming account by way of any

owned by the online gaming account user, and (2) any promotion or
advertisement that offers any financial incentive or enticement to
participate in certain gaming activities.
