AN ACT PROHIBITING DIRECT -TO-CONSUMER PRESCRIPTION
DRUG ADVERTISEMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit direct-to-consumer 1
prescription drug advertisements directed at consumers in this state. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit direct-to-consumer prescription drug advertisements
directed at consumers in this state.
