AN ACT REQUIRING ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES TO HAVE AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR AVAILABLE IN A PUBLIC AREA. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require each assisted living 1 facility in the state to have an automated external defibrillator available 2 in a public area of the facility. 3 Statement of Purpose: To require the availability of an automated external defibrillator in a public area of each assisted living facility.
