Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to divert a portion of 1 supplemental nutrition assistance benefits to drug counseling for 2 beneficiaries convicted of committing a drug-related felony. 3 Statement of Purpose: To provide drug counseling to those who are convicted of committing a drug-related felony while receiving state-administered supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits.
