AN ACT CONCERNING INDEXING MEDICAID PAYMENT RATES TO
THE RATE OF INFLATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to index Medicaid 1
payment rates to correspond with the annual rate of adjustment in the 2
state's minimum wage based on inflation pursuant to section 31-58 of 3
the general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To keep Medicaid reimbursement rates consistent with the rise in costs
and wages in Connecticut.
