AN ACT ALLOWING SPONSORING ASSOCIATIONS TO CREATE 
MULTIPLE EMPLOYER WELFARE ARRANGEMENTS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to allow sponsoring 1 
associations to create multiple employer welfare arrangements for 2 
purposes of providing health insurance coverage to such sponsoring 3 
association's members. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To allow sponsoring associations to create multiple employer welfare 
arrangements for purposes of providing health insurance coverage to 
such sponsoring association's members.
