AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF A HOLD HARMLESS
PROVISION IN THE EDUCATION COST-SHARING GRANT FORMULA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to revise the 1
equalization aid grant formula to hold towns harmless for any 2
reductions in grant amounts that they may experience and to ensure that 3
no town will receive a total grant under the formula that is less than the 4
total amount it received for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To revise the education cost-sharing grant formula to hold towns
harmless and ensure that no town receives less funding than the total
amount the town received for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
