AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE MYSTIC AQUARIUM ANIMAL RESCUE
FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish the Mystic 1
Aquarium Animal Rescue Fund that shall be funded through annual 2
appropriations from the General Fund and used for supporting the 3
aquarium's rescue, rehabilitation and release of stranded marine 4
mammals, educational outreach programs and marine life and 5
conservation research. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide resources to the Mystic Aquarium Animal Rescue Program
that enable it to rescue, rehabilitate and release marine animals in
distress while advancing conservation educational and scientific
research.
