AN ACT CONCERNING THE ZERO -EMISSION AFTERMARKET CONVERSION PROJECT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require: (1) The state to 1 establish the Zero-Emission Aftermarket Conversion Project and create 2 a Clean Vehicle Rebate Project to provide an applicant who is a resident 3 of the state with a rebate for an eligible vehicle that has been converted 4 into a zero-emission vehicle; (2) the rebate issued pursuant to such 5 project shall be limited to one per vehicle and have a value of not more 6 than two thousand dollars; and (3) the state to establish guidelines and 7 eligibility criteria for the program. 8 Statement of Purpose: To establish the Zero-Emission Aftermarket Conversion Project.
