AN ACT CONCERNING NATURAL FISHING, HUNTING AND
AQUACULTURE RIGHTS OF CERTAIN NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to affirm and expand the 1
natural fishing, hunting and aquaculture rights of state-recognized 2
Native American tribes on ancestral lands and waters to ensure the 3
preservation of cultural heritage, sustainable resource management, 4
equitable access to ancestral lands and economic development 5
opportunities. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To affirm and expand fishing, hunting and aquaculture rights of state-
recognized Native American tribes.
