AN ACT CREATING A DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a Department of 1
Energy separate and distinct from the Department of Energy and 2
Environmental Protection and to transfer all of the Department of 3
Energy and Environmental Protection's energy-related functions to the 4
new Department of Energy. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To create a Department of Energy and transfer energy-related functions
from the current Department of Energy and Environmental Protection
to the new Department of Energy.
