AN ACT REMOVING REFERENCE TO CALIFORNIA LAW IN ENERGY CONSERVATION, AIR POLLUTION OR EMISSION STANDARDS IN THE STATE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapters 298 and 446c of the general statutes be amended to 1 remove (1) any reference to any California state law, code or regulation, 2 and (2) any requirement that the Commissioner of the Department of 3 Energy and Environmental Protection model Connecticut's relevant 4 emission standards on California's standards. 5 Statement of Purpose: To eliminate the use of any California state law, code or regulation to set energy utilization and conservation, air pollution control or emission standards in the state.
