AN ACT REDUCING THE MOTOR VEHICLE MILL RATE CAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) reduce the mill rate cap 1
for motor vehicles from 32.46 mills to 30 mills, and (2) adjust the grants 2
payable from the Municipal Revenue Sharing Fund established under 3
section 4-66p of the general statutes to reimburse municipalities for the 4
resulting revenue loss. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the mill rate cap for motor vehicles and adjust the grants
payable from the Municipal Revenue Sharing Fund to reimburse
municipalities for the resulting revenue loss.
