AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO PROHIBIT PET SHOPS
FROM SELLING CERTAIN ANIMALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 7 of the general statutes be amended to authorize 1
municipalities to prohibit pet shops from selling dogs, cats and rabbits. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize municipalities to prohibit pet shops from selling dogs, cats
and rabbits.
