AN ACT PROHIBITING FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS FROM
SELLING FOOD PREPARED WITH FRYING OILS CONTAINING
ARTIFICIAL TRANS FATS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a food service 1
establishment from selling any food prepared with frying oils 2
containing any artificial trans fats. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the sale of any food containing artificial trans fats by food
service establishments.
