AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE PURCHASE
OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state, in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
two million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the city of 4
New Haven to acquire, remediate and develop an affordable housing 5
project located at 130 Orchard Street in the city of New Haven. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the city of New Haven to acquire, remediate and
develop certain real property located in the city of New Haven.
