MENAPACE, 37th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF RANKED -CHOICE VOTING IN PRIMARIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to allow any political 1 party to implement ranked-choice voting in primaries for the purpose 2 of nominating candidates for elective office, in accordance with the rules 3 of such party that have been filed with the Secretary of the State and 4 which may provide for such a system. 5 Statement of Purpose: To allow a political party to use ranked-choice voting in primaries, as may be provided for in such party's rules.
