AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDING FOR BUS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
FOR STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That three million dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Transportation, from the Special Transportation Fund, for the fiscal year 2
ending June 30, 2026, to provide bus public transportation at no cost to 3
students in kindergarten to grade twelve, inclusive. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide free bus public transportation to students in kindergarten to
grade twelve.
