AN ACT CONCERNING THE REPEAL OF THE BABY BONDS
PROGRAM AND THE REDIRECTION OF FUNDS INTO THE EARLY
CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 3-36b to 3-36h, inclusive, of the general statutes be 1
repealed; and further that section 10-511 of the general statutes be 2
amended to deposit any remaining funds in the Connecticut Baby Bond 3
Trust in the Early Childhood Care and Education Fund. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal the Baby Bonds program and deposit such funds in the Early
Childhood Care and Education Fund for the purpose of developing
early childhood programs.
