AN ACT CONCERNING THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR
EDUCATORS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to streamline the 1
certification process for educators trained in other countries. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To address staffing shortages in educational institutions across
Connecticut by simplifying the certification and licensure process for
educators trained in other countries.
