AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE ADULT
EDUCATION CENTER IN THE CITY OF NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five million five hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall 4
be used by the Department of Education for the purpose of providing a 5
grant-in-aid to the city of Norwich for improvements and structural 6
upgrades to the adult education center located on Hickory Street in the 7
city of Norwich. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for improvements and structural upgrades to the
adult education center in the city of Norwich.
