AN ACT CONCERNING THE MANAGEMENT AND FUNDING OF THE
CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapters 50 and 961a of the general statutes be amended to 1
provide that (1) the Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division 2
within the Office of Policy and Management shall be responsible for 3
managing and overseeing the development and use of the criminal 4
justice information system described in section 54-142s of the general 5
statutes, and (2) any funds appropriated to the Department of 6
Emergency Services and Public Protection for such system shall transfer 7
to the Office of Policy and Management for such system. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that (1) the Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division
within the Office of Policy and Management shall be responsible for
managing and overseeing the development and use of the criminal
justice information system, and (2) any funds appropriated for such
system shall transfer to the Office of Policy and Management for such
system.
