AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELIMINATION OF THE RESTRICTION ON
CARRYING HANDGUNS IN STATE PARKS AND FORESTS FOR
SELF-DEFENSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate the restriction on 1
carrying handguns in state parks and forests for self-defense purposes. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize the carrying of handguns in state parks and forests for
purposes of self-defense.
