AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADOPTION OF ATLANTIC STANDARD
TIME.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-6 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
state to adopt Atlantic Standard Time upon the enactment of legislation 2
in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York adopting said time and 3
federal approval of such change. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the state to adopt Atlantic Standard time upon the enactment
of legislation in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York adopting
said time and federal approval of such change.
