AN ACT CONCERNING FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION AS A 
PERSON WITH A DISABILITY. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to provide that any person who 1 
fraudulently misrepresents that such person is a person with a disability 2 
for the purpose of receiving accommodations regarding service dogs 3 
afforded by the Americans with Disabilities Act shall be guilty of a 4 
misdemeanor. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide that any person who fraudulently misrepresents that such 
person is a person with a disability for the purpose of receiving 
accommodations regarding service dogs afforded by the Americans 
with Disabilities Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
