AN ACT LIMITING REMOTE WORK FOR STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 5 of the general statutes be amended to, notwithstanding 1
any collective bargaining or arbitration agreements, (1) limit remote 2
work for state employees to no more than forty per cent of an employee's 3
work week, and (2) allow commissioners of state agencies to deny 4
remote work for positions where working remotely is inconsistent with 5
the job duties and the agency's operational needs. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To establish limitations on remote work by state employees.
