AN ACT REQUIRING THE PROVISION OF WRITTEN INFORMATION BY PHARMACISTS CONCERNING THE EFFECTS OF MIFEPRISTONE WHEN DISPENSING TO A PATIENT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require pharmacists that are 1 dispensing mifepristone to a patient for the purposes of terminating a 2 pregnancy to provide written information that its effects may, in some 3 cases, be reversed if the patient decides to continue with the pregnancy 4 and seeks reversal treatment in a timely manner. 5 Statement of Purpose: To protect reproductive rights in cases where a woman decides to continue with a pregnancy.
