AN ACT CONCERNING FIREARM MAGAZINE LIMITS AND
DECLARATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 943 of the general statutes be amended to (1) eliminate 1
the ammunition capacity limits imposed on firearm magazines, (2) 2
eliminate the requirement to declare firearm magazines, and (3) require 3
the state to destroy the records of such declarations. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To afford persons the means to better exercise the constitutionally
protected right to keep and bear arms.
