AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS AT
NORTH END ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND NORTON ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL IN CHESHIRE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 10-286 of the general 1
statutes or any regulation adopted by the Department of Administrative 2
Services or the State Board of Education pursuant to said section 3
concerning the calculation of grants using the state standard space 4
specifications, the town of Cheshire shall be exempt from the state 5
standard space specifications for the purpose of the calculation of the 6
grant for the school building projects at North End Elementary School 7
and Norton Elementary School in Cheshire. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide an exemption from the state standard space specifications
requirements for the school building projects at North End Elementary
School and Norton Elementary School in the town Cheshire.
