AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING TO IMPLEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS IN THE NEW MILFORD ROAD SAFETY AUDIT REPORT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That (1) the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department 1 of Transportation, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 2 30, 2026, to complete the recommended road work in the town of New 3 Milford that is contained in the department's October 2024 New Milford 4 Road Safety Audit report, and (2) chapter 242 of the general statutes be 5 amended to require the department to complete such road work in a 6 timely manner. 7 Statement of Purpose: To require funding of the road work recommended in the Department of Transportation's New Milford Road Safety Audit report dated October 2024.
