AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING TO ADDRESS HOMELESSNESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Social Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 2
30, 2026, for a grant-in-aid to nonprofit organizations that provide 3
shelter and other assistance to persons who are homeless. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for nonprofit organizations that serve homeless
persons in the state.
