AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF INTELLIGENCE 
QUOTIENT TESTS IN THE NATIVE LANGUAGE OF THE TEST TAKER. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That titles 10 and 17a of the general statutes be amended to require 1 
local and regional boards of education and the Department of 2 
Developmental Services to administer intelligence quotient tests for 3 
developmental services eligibility in the native language of the student 4 
taking the test.  5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To ensure that the results of a student's intelligence quotient test 
accurately reflect the level of learning and comprehension for 
developmental services eligibility.
