AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC SCHOOL LIBRARIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require local and regional 1
boards of education to adopt a policy concerning public school library 2
collection development, weeding, material review, reconsideration, 3
Internet access, displays and programs and for the approval for 4
selection and removal of books and other educational media. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require local and regional boards of education to adopt a policy
concerning public school library collection of books and other
educational media.
