AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT THE
ASHFORD SCHOOL IN ASHFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 10-292 of the general 1
statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or 2
the Department of Administrative Services requiring that a bid not be 3
let out until plans and specifications have been approved by the 4
Department of Administrative Services, the town of Ashford may let out 5
for bid on and commence a school building project at Ashford School 6
(Project Number 003-0017 CV/OT), provided the town of Ashford 7
meets all other provisions of chapter 173 of the general statutes or any 8
regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department 9
of Administrative Services pursuant to said chapter and is eligible for 10
grant assistance pursuant to said chapter. 11
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the town of Ashford to proceed with a school building project
at Ashford School.
