AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSTALLATION OF ADVANCED
CONDUCTORS IN NEW OR EXISTING TRANSMISSION LINES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that electric 1
distribution companies install advanced conductors with an efficiency 2
rating not less than fifteen per cent higher than standard steel core 3
conductors in any new or existing transmission line. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require that electric distribution companies install advanced
conductors with an efficiency rating not less than fifteen per cent higher
than steel core conductors in any new or existing transmission line.
