AN ACT CONCERNING OPTING OUT OF SMART METER
PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow any residential electric 1
end use customer to opt out of any program or regulation that would 2
require the installation of a smart meter. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow any residential electric end use customer to opt out of any
program or regulation that would require the installation of a smart
meter.
