AN ACT PROPOSING AMENDMENTS CONCERNING THE
DESIGNATION OF FREE ENTERPRISE DAY AND CONSTITUTION
DAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That (1) subdivision (113) of section 10-29a of the general statutes be 1
amended to recognize the innovative spirit of entrepreneurs and their 2
contributions, and (2) subdivision (114) of said section be amended to 3
recognize Connecticut as having the first written constitution of a 4
representative republic. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To praise the innovative spirit of entrepreneurs and recognize that
Connecticut had the first written constitution of a representative
republic.
