AN ACT CONCERNING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PAYING THE COST
OF TRANSCRIPTS IN ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEEDINGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 54 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any 1
party to a proceeding held before an agency from being charged or 2
otherwise held financially responsible for the cost of providing copies 3
of the transcript of such proceeding to such agency or to any third party 4
to whom the agency has lawfully delegated its adjudicatory authority. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify who is responsible for paying the cost of transcripts in
administrative proceedings.
