AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROCESS AND TIMELINE FOR THE REVIEW OF EXISTING REGULATIONS OF CONNECTICUT STATE AGENCIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 4-189i of the general statutes be amended to require all 1 agencies to (1) review their existing regulations and determine which of 2 such regulations are obsolete, inconsistent or ineffective not later than 3 June 30, 2026, (2) submit the agency's review of its regulations to the 4 applicable committee of cognizance not later than January 1, 2026, for a 5 public hearing to be held during the regular session, and (3) include the 6 status of the agency's review process on the eRegulations system. 7 Statement of Purpose: To make modifications to the process for reviewing agency regulations to determine whether they are obsolete, inconsistent or ineffective and change the deadlines for such review.
